L’iniziativa Street Art Politecnico 2016 è basata su alcune idee “guida”: La scelta di undici “writers” legati dalla stessa cultura/genere artistico “l’areosolart” o WRITING, con riferimento solo al panorama italiano.
Il genere artistico sviluppa la tematica dello studio stilistico dei caratteri tipografici con l’utilizzo della tecnica a vernice spray (bomboletta).
Le lettere reinterpretate dagli artisti nell’opera pittorica forma no/scrivono il loro pseudonimo o il nome del gruppo di appartenenza, (crew).
Anche in questa forma di espressione artistica è centrale la ricerca dell’originalità, perseguita da ogni artista come forma di distinzione e nello stesso tempo inequivocabile elemento di identificazione. Vengono utilizzati sia font semplici e ben definiti, sia distorti e “stressati” all’inverosimile, tanto da perderne le sembianze in una sorta di metamorfosi. Entrano nella composizione anche altri elementi grafici quali: simboli grafici, forme geometriche e frecce.
Il colore è il terzo ingrediente della composizione.
Gli elementi figurativi fanno parte del contorno e completamento dell’opera, nella ricerca dell’originalità assumono nuovi significati e dettano nuove regole estetiche stimolando l’immaginario dell’osservatore. Wild style, 3d style, bubble style, sono alcuni stili di riferimento che influenzano tutt’ora i writers di tutto il mondo. Gli artisti scelti hanno tutti più di 20 anni di storia alle spalle e il loro contributo ha fatto conoscere la scena italiana nel mondo, fornendo al nostro paese una sua identità in questo genere artistico.
Gli artisti partecipanti alla manifestazione proveranno a creare un’opera che possa in qualche modo contenere tutta la loro storia. Analizzando infatti il percorso di ognuno, si può osservare che le opere “giovanili”, seppur acerbe, contengono elaborazioni ed influenze legate al periodo, entusiasmi ed energie giovanili, a confronto di ciò che si potrebbe creare oggi, dopo più di 20 anni di tracce: sicuramente opere più mature e ricche di esperienza e consapevolezza. In questo ipotetico viaggio temporale della loro mente, potranno creare l’opera ultima, regalandoci le loro storie e dandoci la possibilità di avere una visione completa del carattere che li ha resi unici.

This artistic genre develops the stylistic study of print character types with the use of the spray paint technique theme.
The letters reinterpreted by the artists in painting work form/write their pseudonyms or crew names.
A search for originality is centrally important to this form of artistic expression too and is pursued by all artists as a form of distinction and at the same time an unequivocal element of identification. The fonts used are both simple and well-defined and distorted and ‘stressed’ to the nth degree to the extent of losing their resemblance in a sort of metamorphosis. Other graphic elements also come into the composition such as: graphic symbols, geometric forms and arrows.
Colour is the third ingredient in composition.
The figurative elements play a part in the framework and completion of the work. In the search for originality they take on new meanings and dictate new aesthetic rules stimulating the observer’s imagination. Wild style, 3D style, bubble style – these are some of the reference styles influencing writers from all over the world still today. The chosen artists all have more than 20 years’ experience behind them and their contribution has showcased the Italian scene worldwide giving the country an identity in this art genre.
The artists taking part in the event will try to create a work which somehow embodies their own histories. Analysing the trajectories of each of these, it is clear that their ‘youthful’ work, whilst a little ‘green’, contains elaborations and influences linked to the period, youthful energies and enthusiasms, in comparison with what they might create today after more than 20 years of history, certain to be more mature and rich in experience and awareness. In this hypothetical time travel through their minds they may create the ultimate work giving us their histories and the chance for a complete vision of the character which has made them so unique.
